La Trappe Isid'or is amber in color, with off-white foam. The scent has herbal, floral and pleasant fruitiness. The taste world starts out fruity and turns into a malty caramel, and the aftertaste is pleasantly bitter. This balanced beer was first brewed for the brewery's 125th anniversary in 2009. The beer takes its name from the monastery's first brewer, monk Isidorus.
